J acquelyn Lee (Weaver) Shaffer, 78, of Mechanicsburg died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 23, 1933 in New Paris, Ohio the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lorene (Roberts) Weaver.
Jacquelyn was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a very religious and creative person, who enjoyed drawing, arts and crafts. Jacquelyn was a nutritionist and loved to care for her family.
Jacquelyn’s survivors include: her loving former husband Richard L. Shaffer; three sons: Richard L. Shaffer Jr. of Mechanicsburg; Samuel Shaffer of Minneappolis, MN; Thomas Shaffer of Claremore, OK; two daughters: Roseanna Hoffman of Mechanicsburg; Susan Edgerly of OR; a sister Judith Turner of Richmond, IN; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
