James “Jim” Douglas Schroeder

Loving Brother, Uncle, and Friend -

James “Jim” Douglas Schroeder, age 76, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  Jim was born on Friday, April 4, 1941 in Newark, NJ to the late Jacob William Schroeder and Agnes Dorothy (Lynch) Schroeder.  In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his partner of 40 years, Thomas Loring Randolph; and his three brothers: John Schroeder, Paul Schroeder, and Donald Schroeder.

Jim’s survivors include his two sisters: Joan Dorothy Leivonen of Bedminster, NJ and Mary Ann Schroeder of Mechanicsburg; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join Jim’s family at his viewing on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, until time of casket closing at 2:30 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.  Burial in Mechanicsburg Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
