Jim attended the Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren. He loved baseball and played the sport most of his life as a left-handed pitcher. Jim enjoyed coaching his grandsons’ Little League. He was an avid fisherman that loved to spend hours trying to reel in the perfect catch. If Jim wasn’t playing baseball or fishing, he could be found betting on horse racing. He also liked to watch all different types of sports, especially Pittsburgh Steelers football, Philadelphia Phillies baseball, and NASCAR racing. Jim was a hard worker but his real passion was his family. This was where he was able to put in a great deal of dedication and perseverance. Jim was most proud of his children, all of whom melted his heart. He was softened by his grandchildren and their presence in his life.
