James “Jim” Ross Wilkins, 82, of Mechanicsburg , died peacefully at Bethany Village on Thursday, May 9, 2013. He was born in Erie, PA, on Sunday, December 14, 1930, son of the late Ross W. Wilkins and Marian (Camp) Wilkins. Jim was the husband of Sondra Kay (Bender) Wilkins whom he married on August 25, 1961, and who survives him.
Jim is also survived by his son, James Wilkins of Sellersville, PA; his two daughters, Denise Starner and her husband Barry and their children Eric and Jamie all of Mechanicsburg, Karen Pardoe and her children Lindsay and Kyle of Mechanicsburg; and his sister, Beverly Dahlquist of Florida.
Jim retired as the Executive Director of Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg, after 11 years of service.
All are welcome to join Jim’s family at his Graveside Service on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA, with Reverend Dr. Brand W. Eaton officiating. Cremation was private.
