Janet Ann (Ziegelbauer) Liquori

Janet Ann (Ziegelbauer) Liquori, age 73, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.  Janet was born on Saturday, November 18, 1950, in Massapequa, NY to the late John Ziegelbauer and Rosemary (Kolenik) Ziegelbauer.  Janet was the widower of Robert “Bob” William Liquori, whom she married on July 28, 1984, and who died on July 23, 2008.

Janet’s survivors include her two children: Jaclyn Liquori and husband, Chris Cunningham of Red Lion, Devon Liquori and wife, Ali, of New Cumberland; her seven grandchildren: Zachary, Isabella, Aubrey, Derek, Danziel, Bobby, Camryn; and her brother: Keith Ziegelbauer.

Janet graduated from Alfred G. Berner High School in Massapequa, NY as part of the class of 1968 and from College at Old Westbury State University of New York in 1980 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business.  Over the years, Janet worked various jobs in computer programming, marketing and customer service.  In the early 1970’s Janet was a Baton Twirler for the New York Jets Football Team. She had a passion for golfing, enjoyed reading good books, and loved working in her flower gardens. Most of all, Janet enjoyed being around her family and grandchildren.

All are welcome to join Janet’s family at her celebration of life open house and gathering of family and friends on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral & Cremation).  Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots.  Cremation was private.
