Jason Fletcher Solomon

Jason Fletcher Solomon, age 48, of Mechanicsburg died on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Jason was born on Saturday, July 3, 1976, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Jason is preceded in death by his brother, Justin Solomon.

Jason graduated from Cumberland Valley High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University. For many years, Jason made a career out of providing support and services to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Jason had many interests from Star Wars to Seinfeld. Jason was an avid San Francisco Giants fan, having most recently attended a game to watch them play the Philadelphia Phillies. One of Jason’s favorite places was the beach and he loved taking trips to the shore. Jason adored animals, especially the family dog, Jack. Jason enjoyed a quirky pun or joke - hearing or reading one would put a large grin on his face. You could always find an interesting topic to talk to Jason about because of his wide and varied interests.

Jason’s survivors include his loving parents, Douglas John and Molly (Fletcher) Solomon of Mechanicsburg; his two siblings: Douglas P. Solomon and wife, Angela, of Mechanicsburg and Laura Solomon and spouse, Karissa, of Dillsburg; and his nephews and niece; Madigan Solomon, Julian Solomon, and Francesca Solomon.

Jason will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have been in his life. Services will be private and at the family’s convenience.
