Jason Leif LeBlanc, also known as Frank Rizzo, age 40, of Mechanicsburg, transitioned at home on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Jason was born on Friday, August 15, 1975 in Carlisle to Richard “Ric” Paul LeBlanc and Sharon Leslie (Lyons) LeBlanc. Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gertrude Lyons; and his paternal grandmother, Barbara A. Mumper.
Jason’s survivors include his mother, Sharon LeBlanc, and her life partner, Ronald Neil Look, of Mechanicsburg; Jason’s father, Richard “Ric” Paul LeBlanc, and his wife, Faye, Boiling Springs; Jason’s two children: Richard “Ricky” LeBlanc of Mechanicsburg, Addison “Addy” Grace LeBlanc of Newport; Jason’s granddaughter, Isabella “Bella” LeBlanc of Loysville; Jason’s two siblings: Dustin C. LeBlanc of Carlisle, Cassie R. LeBlanc of Carlisle; Jason’s maternal grandfather, Thomas L. Lyons, and his good friend, Mary Ann Chiste, both of Carlisle; Jason’s companion, Emily Swartz, of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.
Jason worked as a piercer and glassblower; he had a stand at the Saturday Market in Middletown where he was known as Frank Rizzo. He enjoyed playing with and going to the creek with his dogs, Nala and Dingo. Jason had a great sense of humor and a unique laugh. He had a smile that was beautiful and engaging to everyone that got the chance to see it. Jason was a very loving and charismatic person who always showed care and concern for others. He will be remembered as a bright light in people’s lives.
