Jean graduated from Catholic High School as part of the class of 1945. She retired from the Book of the Month Club in Mechanicsburg, after 35 years of service working as a book packer. Jean was a past member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg. She enjoyed the various activities that her and her husband, Albert, would partake in over the years. The two would go camping at Gifford Pinchot State Park, take bus trips to casinos, take out their pontoon boat, go out to eat, and travel all over together. Jean also loved to bake and share her desserts with everyone. Every Halloween, she would make soft taffy and hand it out to her trick-or-treaters, which soon made Jean the most popular place to go for candy. She also would make the most delicious whoopee pies and Christmas cookies. Jean adored her cat, Sammy, and liked to spend quality time with him. The most important thing to Jean was her family. She loved them deeply and cherished every memory she made in their presence.
