Jeffrey Krug

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn Krug, age 82, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Jeff was born on Sunday, November 8, 1942 in Lineboro, PA to the late Franklin Samuel Krug and Dorothy Lorene (Lobaugh) Krug. 

Jeff’s survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Kathryn (Feeser) Krug; his two daughters, Heidi Krug, Tara Sheibley and husband Michael of Mechanicsburg; his granddaughter, Gabrielle Sheibley; his brother, Jay Krug of Puyallup, WA; his sister-in-law, Bonita Feeser and niece, Angela Whay of Nashville, TN; and beloved cat, Bobbi.

Jeff graduated from Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA as part of the class of 1960 and from Rets Radio Electronic Television School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and National Guard. He retired from IBM after 53 years working in various positions. He was a member of Slate Hill Mennonite Church and  an Association Member of Camp Hebron.  Jeff enjoyed the technical challenge of many activities and was tenacious in his pursuit toward proper solutions; he was a skilled handyman who could fix almost anything. He was a loyal friend to everyone and was eager to get involved when asked or needed. He enjoyed Corvettes and racing them, as well as nature, gardening, hunting, and he was an avid birder. Jeff loved his family, and his smile, wit, and guidance will be greatly missed.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
