Jeffrey “Jeff” David Seibert

A Family Man -

Jeffrey “Jeff” David Seibert, age 56, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Carlisle, passed away at home while being comforted by his loving family on Monday, January 30, 2017.  Jeff was born on Thursday, September 8, 1960 in at Seidle Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsburg to Barbara (Shetler) Wimer and the late David Theodore Seibert.  In addition to his father, Jeff is preceded in death by his stepfather, Gil Wimer.

Jeff’s survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Lois Ann (Benoist) Seibert; his two sons: Joshua “Josh” Seibert and his wife, Nicole, and their children: Brandi, Mandi, Josh, Brooke, Taylor, of Dover, Michael and his fiancé, Rebecca, of Mechanicsburg; his sister, Dee Dee and her husband, Dan, of Mechanicsburg; and his two nephews.

Jeff started working at McDonald’s before he drove for Holsum Bakers, Terranettis Italian Bakery, and for himself for a short period of time until his last job at Kmart.  He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, WWE, and his favorite driver, Bill Elliott, race in NASCAR.  Jeff enjoyed reading, especially if they were horror or suspense books.  He liked to play board games and horseshoes with his friends.  Most importantly, Jeff loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them; they will all miss him dearly.

Jeff’s family will be remembering his life privately.  Cremation was private.
