Had a Heart of Gold -
Jeffrey “Jeff” Colton Wilson, age 28, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Camp Hill, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, following a car accident. Jeff was born on Friday, December 30, 1988 in Harrisburg to Craig Allen Wilson and Ann M. (Kelly) Wilson. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd Wilson; and his maternal grandparents: Edward and Helen Kelly.
Jeff’s survivors include his mother, Ann M. (Kelly) Wilson and her fiancé, Thomas Seiler, of Schuylkill Haven, PA; his father, Craig Allen Wilson of Camp Hill, PA; his two brothers, Justin Ryan Wilson and his girlfriend, Kylea Smith, of Columbus, OH, Keith Bryan Wilson of Camp Hill, PA; his half-sister, Nicole Wilson and her daughter, Alyssa, of Harrisburg, PA; his paternal grandmother, Doris Wilson of Hershey, PA; his girlfriend, Niki Schmidhamer; his three paternal uncles: Barry Wilson, Randy Getz, Bradley Wilson; and his two maternal uncles: Daniel Kelly, David Kelly.
Jeff attended Cedar Cliff High School and graduated from Schuylkill High School as part of the class of 2007. He began pursuing his college degree at Columbus State University. Jeff loved playing soccer, weight lifting, and watching ice hockey, soccer, and football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed dressing sharp and showing his classy sense of style. Jeff was an avid dog lover and just recently traveled after work to celebrate his Labrador retriever, Cody James, 13 th birthday. He treasured the time spent with Cody James and took him on walks every day, which often occurred twice and lasted a mile each time. Jeff was a true movie buff, loved traveling to the beach, and was passionate about his job at Classic Rock. His favorite meal was anything BBQ, whether it was chicken, beef, or wings, Jeff loved indulging it all. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone that asked. Jeff enjoyed completing projects for his mother from start to finish; just recently, he built an underground dog fence on a large area of her property. The most important thing to Jeff was his family and they were the center of his life.
All are welcome to join Jeff’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Sunday, November 26, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
