In addition to his parents, Jesse’s survivors at the time included his two brothers: Jason A. Yeakle and his wife, Lindsey, and Zachary A. Yeakle; his paternal grandmother, Josephine Nye; his paternal grandfather, Harold Yeakle; his maternal grandfather, Russell Ottinger; his two paternal uncles, Christopher Yeakle, Scott Yeakle and his wife, Jayanna; and his niece, Alexandria.  Since Jesse’s passing his family has grown to include his brother Zachary’s wife, Megan, his niece, Delaney, and his nephew, Grayson.

Jesse graduated from Mechanicsburg Area High School as part of the class of 1998 and from West Chester University in December of 2002 with a degree in business.

Jesse’s viewing was held on the afternoon of Sunday, October 5, 2003, with the Rev. Richard G. Felty officiating.  Jesse’s family and friends then gathered for a time of food and fellowship at Mt. Olivet Church in Shiremanstown.  Interment followed in March 2004 in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill.

The family sent their most heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Cleveland Clinic who so lovingly cared for Jesse.  Contributions in celebration of Jesse’s life were directed to the American Heart Association.
