JoAnn (Hevel) Coble

JoAnn (Hevel) Coble, age 64, of Hummelstown, and formerly of Middletown, was reunited with her mom, dad and dog on Friday, December 2, 2022.  JoAnn was born on Monday, October 20, 1958, in Harrisburg to the late George Edward Hevel and Roberta (Cain) Hevel.  In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and her beloved Shih Tzu, Dookie.

JoAnn’s survivors include her daughter, Heather “Boobsie” Jo Richwine and her husband, Ron G. Richwine, Jr., of Mechanicsburg; her grandson, Ronnie “Stink” G. Richwine, III and his girlfriend, Keila King, of Mechanicsburg; her great-grandson, Jaiden G. Richwine; her two brothers; and her three sisters.

JoAnn worked in food service for many years and took great pride in her duties.  She was a simple, loving and caring person.  She loved to help others and her family will miss her smile, her laugh, and even how she would complain about her food and let you know that she was in food service.  JoAnn enjoyed going to the casino and watching Hallmark movies.  She adored the color purple and was an avid collector of Snowbabies and anything with owls.  Above all else, JoAnn loved her family and cherished time spent with her daughter, grandson and great-grandson.  She will be deeply missed.

JoAnn’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.

While JoAnn’s family will not be accepting flowers, memorial contributions in celebration of JoAnn’s life can be made to a cancer charity of the donor’s choice.
