John Patrick Harhi

Beloved Son & Brother -

John Patrick Harhi, age 46, of Mechanicsburg, went home to be with his Lord and family on Friday, December 1, 2017.  John was born on Monday, March 29, 1971 in Camp Hill to Patricia Ann (Coyle) Zinn and the late John Harhi.  In addition to his father, John is preceded in death by his aunt and six uncles.

John’s survivors include his mother, Patricia “Pat” Ann Zinn and her husband, John, of Mechanicsburg; his brother, Christopher Harhi of Lone Pine, CA; his step-brother, Mikel Zinn of Harrisburg; and his step-sister, Angela Zinn and her two children: Lucius and Ariel, of Harrisburg.

John graduated from Cedar Cliff High School as part of the class of 1989 and he completed the medical assistant certificate program at CLA.  He attended Cornerstone Fellowship Assembly of God in Wormleysburg.  John worked for Renzenberger, Inc. as a transport driver for six years in Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg.  He liked watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.  John also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, hiking, walking, and sitting back while listening to his favorite music.  He loved the beach and going to Ocean City, NJ, which he often did each year with a group from his church.  John was a dog lover and had a soft spot for his mom’s dogs, Molly and Midnight; he spent a great deal of time walking and playing with them.  He looked forward to indulging in his mom’s cooking and John always complimented her on the wonderful job she did.  John was a happy-go-lucky and caring person who will be missed for his carefree spirit.
