John Louis Wells III, age 65, of Shiremanstown , and formerly of Jupiter, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. John was born on Tuesday, April 19, 1949, in Long Beach, CA to Neon Patricia (Eady) Wells and the late John Louis Wells, Jr.
John’s survivors include his mother, Neon Wells and her husband, Bill Anderson, of Jupiter, FL; his sisters: Sharon Simpson of Mechanicsburg, Deborah Wells of Jupiter, FL ; and several nieces and nephews.
John resided in Jupiter, FL for 20 years before coming to Mechanicsburg, where he has lived for the past three years. Despite his life-long disability, John lived his life to the fullest, always helping others with a smile. His passions were music, socializing, and sports. John especially liked basketball and football, and his favorite teams were the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins.
All are welcome to join John’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Monday, January 12, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery in Elizabeth City, NC.
