Joseph “Joey” R. Kapp, age 50, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  Joey was born on Saturday, January 15, 1972, in Harrisburg to Joseph R. Kapp, Sr. and the late Lynn Dee (Rousch) Reagan.  In addition to his mother, Joey is preceded in death by his beloved canine companion, Simba.

Joey’s survivors include his father, Joseph “Joe” R. Kapp, Sr. of Mechanicsburg; his soulmate, Penni Joi Freberg of Mechanicsburg; his step-son, Shaun Jacobs of Mechanicsburg; his step-granddaughter, Olivia Jacobs, who loving called Joey, "Pappy"; his two aunts: Nancy L. Alleman of Mechanicsburg; Carol A. Rider and her husband, Dennis, of Syracuse, NY; several cousins; and his beloved feline companions: Jack and Jill.

Joey’s family will be remembering his life privately.  Cremation was private.
