Joseph “Joey” Oscar Minnich, 44, of York , and formerly of Harrisburg , died at Hershey Medical Center on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was born in Harrisburg, on Sunday, January 25, 1970, son of the late Joseph O. Railing and Geraldine Elizabeth (Goodling) Minnich.
Joey’s survivors include his loving daughters, Ashley Renee Beach of Carlisle and her boyfriend, George Hackenberger, Katrina Marie Minnich of Newville and her fiancé Jesiah Hitz; his grandchildren, Mya Beach, Adrianna Beach, Shaina Gipe, Isabella Gipe; his companion, Nancy H. Young of York; two brothers, three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Joey adored his grandchildren and loved flying his model airplanes with them. He enjoyed camping, fishing, four wheeling, NASCAR and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. Joey was a fun loving man who always had a smile on his face.
All are welcome to join Joey’s family at his Memorial Service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Strinestown United Brethren Church , 5675 Susquehanna Trail, Manchester, PA 17345, with Pastor Gary Hitz officiating. Joey’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at his church following the service.
