Judith Marlene (Zimmerman) March, age 73, of Mechanicsburg , died at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence in Harrisburg on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Judith was born on Tuesday, March 25, 1941 in Harrisburg to the late Richard Bowman Zimmerman and Ethel Mildred (Walmer) Zimmerman. Judith was the wife of Kenneth Eugene March, whom she married on December 18, 1967.
Judith’s survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Kenneth; her children: Pamela Curley and her husband, Scott, of Hanover, Kim March and his wife, Donna, of Boiling Springs, Kenneth March II and his wife, Deborah, of Newville, Keith March and his wife, Carol, of Florida; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brothers: Richard Zimmerman II and his wife, Joanne, of North Carolina, Thomas Zimmerman and his wife, Diane, of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Judith graduated from Susquehanna Township High School as part of the class of 1959. She worked as an administrative assistant for various attorneys over her lifetime and retired from the PA Department of Labor & Industry. Judith enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, and painting.
All are welcome to join Judith’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Judith’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship after the service at Hoss's Steak and Sea House, 61 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Burial will be private and at the family’s convenience.
