Ken spent much of his life in the service of his country.  He served in the U.S. Army for more than four years, and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant after more than 15 years of service. He later retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot after many years working as a forklift operator.  Ken was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg.  He enjoyed watching television, especially TV series westerns and horseracing.  He also liked to bowl with his older brother and go fishing on the many lakes and streams.  Ken loved to grow juicy red tomatoes in his garden and to share the bounty with those who were less fortunate.  Ken’s family will miss his simple and generous spirit.
