Kevin Joseph Ernest, age 57, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.  Kevin was born on Friday, July 19, 1963, in Sunbury to Sharon Eileen (Scott) Klinger and the late Paul Donald Ernest.

Kevin’s survivors include his mother, Sharon Klinger of Boiling Springs; his three sisters: Paula Michelle Sgrignoli and husband, Robert, of Enola, Angie Marie Leonard and husband, Dene, of Nokesville, VA, Jacqueline “Jacque” Crissman and husband, Ray, of Shamokin Dam; and his caregiver, Stephanie Hockenberry of Mechanicsburg.

Kevin attended Johnstown Technology Center where he learned his trade to make appliances for the dental field.  He was a flea market enthusiast, marble collector, and a highly skilled marble grinder.  Kevin was also great at character sketches.  He was a headstrong yet kind and giving person who would give anyone the shirt off his back.

All are welcome to join Kevin’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 2:45 p.m. until time of graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Northumberland Memorial, 2956 PA-61, Sunbury, PA 17801; with Celebrant Patti Vogl officiating.  Kevin’s family invites everyone to join them for a Dutch treat reception to begin at 4:00 p.m. at Country Cupboard, 101 Hafer Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
