Kristie “Kris” Lu (Stutman) Juvonen

A Generous Woman -

Kristie “Kris” Lu (Stutman) Juvonen, age 69, of Dillsburg, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, was embraced by her husband on Sunday, April 21, 2019.  Kris was born on Wednesday, November 23, 1949 in Chicago, IL to the late Walter Charles Stutman and Geraldine Beatrice (Bennett) Stutman.  Kris was the widow of Ossi K. Juvonen, whom she married on April 17, 1976, and who died on January 27, 2006.

Kris’s survivors include her three children: Carol Behrens and her husband, Ward, of Glen Rock, PA, Cassie Juvonen of Owensboro, KY, Walter “Wally” Juvonen of Carlisle, PA; her two grandsons: Eddie Behrens of Philadelphia, PA, Cody Behrens of Glen Rock, PA; and her sister, Cassie Stutman of Park Ridge, IL

Kris graduated from Maine Township High School South as part of the class of 1966.  As a collector of many things, she loved going to the flea market.  Kris would head out to the Silver Spring Antique & Flea Market and then the Williams Grove Park Flea Market.  She also liked going to various craft fairs and perusing the items for sale.  Kris was a great cook with quite the sweet tooth.  She was also an animal lover, which could be seen through her faithful watching of Animal Planet and shows like, “The Zoo”.  Kris liked watching TV, but her absolute favorite show was, “Judge Judy”.  She will be remembered for how worldly-wise, generous, and funny she was; Kris will be deeply missed by all those who got to know her.

Kris’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.
