Kristine Marie (Seymore) Enders

Kristine Marie (Seymore) Enders, age 40, of Mechanicsburg, died at Carolyn’s House surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 13, 2024. Kristine was born on Wednesday, March 28, 1984 in Temple, TX, the daughter of William Seymore and Dyanne (Saglimbene) Sage.

Kristine’s survivors include her husband of 10 years, Jason Robert Enders; her two sons: Colton Enders, Caden Enders; her father: William Seymore and his significant other Deb Zook, of Newport; her mother: Dyanne Sage and her husband, Mark Romanoski, of Mechanicsburg. 

Kristine graduated from Cumberland Valley High School as part of the class of 2002 and attended Harrisburg Area Community College. She retired from Department of Veterans Affairs after years of service working as a medical scheduler. Kristine loved horses and was able to enjoy many years with her own horse, Xpressive. She was an excellent rider and won several Blue Ribbons in Dressage competitions. Kristine was an avid reader and always had her nose in a book. When she wasn’t reading, Kristine enjoyed taking care of the plants in her garden and doing diamond paintings. Kristine loved her 1972 Plymouth Barracuda, which she named Frank. Frank was a gift from her dad, and she started to restore the car when her health worsened. The car was a comfort to her; any time she was upset she could go out to the garage and talk to it. While she enjoyed all of these hobbies, her love for the beach was unparalleled. Kristine would travel to the beach as often as possible, most times while visiting family, and when she wasn't able to do so she took comfort in her beach themed home decor. Kristine always made time for her family, and her boys were a huge part of her life. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

All are welcome to join Kristine’s family at her celebration of life open house on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service at 2:30 p.m. at Buhrig’s Gathering Place, 25 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, (717) 766-3421 (next to Buhrig Funeral & Cremation); with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Over 100 parking spaces are available; just look for the “Buhrig” parking signs in all of the parking lots. Cremation was private.
