Kristy Lynne (Lehman) Shelly, age 39, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Dillsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.  Kristy was born on Tuesday, July 24, 1979 in Camp Hill to Susan Jean (Keefer) Lucas and David Dennis Lehman, Sr.

Kristy’s survivors include her four children: Kayla Shelly of Carlisle, Joshua Shelly, Jr. of Dillsburg, Tyler Shelly of Dillsburg, Cierra Johnson of Pittsburgh; her mother, Susan Lehman of Mechanicsburg; her father, David Lehman, Sr. of Mechanicsburg; her three siblings: Jennifer Lehman of New Cumberland, David Lehman, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Jessica Comp and her husband, Daniel, of Carlisle; her maternal grandmother, Nancy Keefer of Mechanicsburg; her four nieces and nephews: Brandon, Jordan, Kylie, Owen; and her beloved canine companion, Nevaeh.

Kristy attended Northern High School as part of the class of 1998.  She was currently employed at Premier Purchasing and Design in Mechanicsburg.  Kristy was actively involved in social media and used Facebook the most.  She was quite the decorator with a talent for arts and crafts, always making things pink or bejeweled.  Kristy also loved all kinds of music, especially if it could be heard using pink earbuds.  Caring for animals was a passion of hers.  Whether it was through her work during the time Kristy spent at the Humane Society or when she rescued animals in need, she truly loved all beings big and small.  Kristy had many friends who often described her as both bubbly and giggly with an awesome laugh.  She also had a huge and giving heart.  Many things in life filled Kristy’s heart with joy, but nothing brought her as much happiness as her kids did.  She was extremely proud of her children and even took to Facebook to brag about them.

Kristy’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.
