Perhaps you heard the angels singing as Linda Marie Evans (Rickards) passed from this world to the next on October 29, 2018.

Leaving behind a void in the hearts of many is her loving husband of 28 years, Kenny, her father, four sisters, one brother, sisters-and-brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and her all time companion, her cat, Sophie.

Preceding Linda in death was her mother, a niece, and a sister-in-law.

Linda loved reading, writing, jigsaw puzzles, quotes, and spending time with family and friends.

Linda will be remembered for her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and her kind heart.

She always had a twinkle in her eye and a wink that spoke volumes.  She smiled and said hello to everyone she encountered.   You always felt better after spending time with her.

To honor Linda’s life and memory and in lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness or simply be kind.

The family will be remembering Linda’s life privately in Mechanicsburg, PA and a memorial service will be held at “Linda’s” Applebee’s in Pineville, NC on Tuesday.
