Linda Lee (Weaver) Weaver

September 10, 1947 — May 27, 2016

Linda L. Weaver

Linda L. Weaver, 68, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully May 27, 2016, at the West Shore Hospital surrounded by her family.  Born September 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Carroll H. and Kathryn E. Weaver.

Linda is survived by her husband Henry L. Weaver, sister, Carol Ann Boswell, and two children: Andrew Weaver, married to Gretchen (Haas) Weaver, and Ann Marie Weaver, engaged to G. Philip Toy, Jr.

Linda was devoted to and cherished her family.  She and Henry were married in 1971 and would have shared their 45th wedding anniversary in June.  She was a loving wife, nurturing mother and caring sister.  Her two children were the light of her life.  They brought her infinite joy.  It was this joy that she spread to everyone around her.  While her primary passion was raising her children and taking care of her family, she held roles as a stewardess, bank teller and seamstress during her life.  Outside of supporting her family, she enjoyed sewing, working in her gardens and sharing conversation with friends and family.  She was never too busy to brighten someone’s day.  Her generous, kind and happy spirit will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Linda’s family is planning a remembrance celebration for a later date.  Cremation was private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Linda’s memory be honored with an act of kindness.

Linda’s family has entrusted her care to Myers – Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory in Mechanicsburg, (717) 766-3421.  Read Linda’s full obituary and sign her official guest book at www.Myers-Buhrig.com.
