A Heart Full of Love -
Lisa Dawn Nease Yeager, age 65, of Mechanicsburg, passed away in the comfort of her home on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Lisa was born on Monday, November 21, 1955, in Hagerstown to Robert “Bob” Eugene Nease and Anita “Dawn” Dawn (Shank) Nease.
Lisa’s survivors include her two children: Rob Paul Yeager and wife Kelly of York, Amanda Dawn Yeager and significant other Adam Verge of New Cumberland; her four grandchildren: Aidan Yeager, Olivia Yeager, Kannon Verge, Juniper Verge; her parents, Bob and Dawn Nease; her two siblings: Tony Nease and wife Kyong Cha of York Springs, Theresa Elicker and husband Ronald of Emlenton; and her beloved feline companion, Little Wing.
Lisa attended Cedar Cliff High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She loved music, art, and writing. Lisa enjoyed getting lost in the works of others as well as creating her own. The beach was her favorite place and Lisa found an immense sense of relaxation there. She loved the sand, seashells, and caramel corn. Anyone who knew Lisa would often describe her as, “a hippie for life” because of her childlike soul with a zest for life. She liked picking out just the right gift for others, especially her grandchildren. Lisa was undoubtedly one of Amazon’s most valuable customers. She had a heart full of love. If someone was in need, Lisa would not only give her last penny but even the pennies she did not have to others. Everyone loved her for the sweet voice that was always so welcoming and warm on the telephone. Lisa truly cherished and adored her entire family and special friends.
Lisa’s family will be remembering her life privately. Cremation was private.
The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to Lisa’s caregiver, Abbie Lee with Angels on Call who assisted her with her day to day activities.
