Lois Elaine (Criste) Fink
Lois Elaine (Criste) Fink, age 85, of Gibsonia, PA, and formerly of the Harrisburg Area, died peacefully at home on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Lois was born on Saturday, December 6, 1930 in Johnstown, PA, to the late Harold Michael Criste and Margaret Mary (Goss) Criste. Lois was the widower of Joseph “Joe” Edward Fink, Sr., whom she married on August 28, 1948, and who died on August 13, 1984. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Criste, and her sister, Margaret Criste Nalley.
Lois’ survivors include her seven children: Joseph Fink and his wife, Jean, of Duncannon, PA, Susanne Fink Keller of Boiling Springs, PA, Judith Fink Ford of Saxton, PA, Margaret Fink Horton of Wormleysburg, PA, JoAnne Fink Korbus of Gibsonia, PA, James Fink and his wife, Connie, of Harrisburg, PA, Karen Rudisill and her husband, Keith, of Fairfield, PA; her three siblings: Camille (Criste) Shultz of Sidney, OH, Donald Criste and his wife, Carole, of Harrisburg, PA, Patricia Criste of Gibsonia, PA; her sister-in-law, Rosemary Criste, who is the widow of Harold Criste, of St Louis, MO; her nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lois retired from Highmark Blue shield in 1990. She was an active member of St. Catherine’s of Sweden Catholic Church, participating in sewing ministry, baking ministry, and feed the hungry. Her absence will leave a void too large to measure.
All are welcome to join Lois’ family at her viewing on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until time of rosary at 8:00 p.m. and at her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 East Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with The Reverend Thomas J. Rozman celebrating. Burial will immediately follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Enola. Honored to be pallbearers are: Joseph Fink, Jr., James Fink, Keith Rudisill, Robert Spayd, John Marshall, and Todd Criste. Lois’ family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship in Brindle Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church following the burial.
