Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother -

Love Virginia (Sheesley) Wise, age 92, of Camp Hill, and formerly of Millersburg, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019.  Love was born on Sunday, October 24, 1926 in Inglenook to the late Francis E. Sheesley and Effie M. (Graff) Sheesley.  Love was the widow of Stewart A. Wise, whom she married on January 25, 1947, and who died on December 30, 2013.  In addition to her parents and husband, Love is preceded in death by her grandson, Jeffrey Hocker; her brother, Edgar Sheesley; and her two sisters: Joyce Rothermel and Wanda Sheesley.

Love’s survivors include her seven children: Dawn Daniels and her husband, Mike, of Dallastown, Gayetta Hough and her husband, Edwin, of Camp Hill, Randy Wise of Mechanicsburg, Shawn Hocker and her husband, Jeff, of Lemoyne, Tana Wise of Camp Hill, Jodi Yohn and her husband, Dennis, of Mechanicsburg, Angela Barrett and her husband, Shawn, of Camp Hill; her 12 grandchildren: Michael, Scott, Nicole, Teil, Kaia, Dustin, Jamie, Tegan, Taryn, Joden, Anthony, Blade; her 19 great-grandchildren: Daniele, Travis, Zachary, Damien, Jarex, Alicia, Joseph, Helena, Inga, Gianna, Camila, Austin, Jorden, Cody, Blaze, Storm, Bella, Calli, Jezebel; her six great-great-grandchildren: LeaBell, Ella, Bailey, AraBella, Zeathen, Cora; her two brothers: Pete Sheesley and his wife, Mary, of Halifax, Donald Sheesley and his wife, Siggy, of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

Love graduated from Millersburg High School as part of the class of 1944.  She was first and foremost a mother and a homemaker; Love’s family was the greatest joy in her life.  She will be remembered for being a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Cremation and services will be private and at the family’s convenience.
