Lucretia Ann Allen, 70, of Mechanicsburg died Wednesday, March 8, 2012 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle. She was born in Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 23, 1941 the daughter of the late Fred and Anna Albright Allen.
Lucretia graduated from Cumberland Valley High School. She retired from the Department of Labor & Industry, after 26 years of service working as a clerk. Lucretia loved to roller skate at the Rainbow Roller Rink. She also enjoyed traveling and was very proud of her cruise to the Caribbean and her trips to Las Vegas.
Lucretia’s survivors include her loving and dear friend Mary Ann Hart and her husband Charles of Marysville, her nephew William Allen and several cousins.
Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
