Luis Alberto Gabela

Luis Alberto Gabela, age 35 of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017.  Luis was born on Friday, April 1, 1982 in Panama City, Panama.

Luis’s survivors include his parents: Santiago Eduardo and Lois (Fribance) Gabela; his two sisters: Erika Gabela of New York City, NY, Christina McLain of Washington, D.C.; and his son, Shane.  He was fortunate enough to also have been part of the Karper family and he will be greatly missed by Lisa, Michael, Katie, Kelly, and Shawn, of whom he considered to be family.

All are welcome to join Luis’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, June 30, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 135 West Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Reverend Dr. Dennis Keller officiating.  Cremation was private.
