Lynwood “Lyn” Alden Neidig

Lynwood “Lyn” Alden Neidig, age 67, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021.  Lyn was born on Saturday, May 30, 1953, in Mount Holly Springs to the late Roy J. Neidig and Helen Louise (Fenton) Neidig.

Lyn’s survivors include his two children: Justin Neidig of Mechanicsburg, Jaimie Neidig of Middletown; his brothers: Les Neidig, Lenny Neidig, Larry Neidig, and Loren Neidig; and many nieces and nephews.

Lyn graduated from Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1972.  He loved the Yellow Breeches and enjoyed playing chess and backgammon.  Lyn was a straight shooter.  He was really good with numbers and liked to negotiate price.  Lyn loved to work with Justin on his Mustang.  He taught Jaimie how to drive stick, helped her purchase, fix and sell her cars; he also loved Jaimie’s ferrets.  Lyn’s family will miss him dearly.
