Magdalen “Midge” (Sacca) Myers, age 80, of Lewisberry, formerly of Steelton, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, November 29, 2024. Midge was born December 3, 1943 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Frank Sacca and Ann (Verbos) Weisenford. Midge was the widow of Kenneth E. Myers, whom she was married to for over 40 years, before his passing in August 2007. In addition to her parents and husband, Midge is preceded in death by her Daughter, Lynn Myers-Breach.
Midge is survived by her son Tony (Judy) Myers, Sandy Myers, Mary Ann (Sean) Runkel and son-in-law Ed Breach. She is celebrated by 11 grandchildren: David, Greg, Laura, Heather, Jenn, Brandi, Pete, Jacob, Kenny, Dani, and Warren. She was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews for whom she loved as her own.
Midge was co-owner of K.E. Myers Co. along side her husband Ken for most of their lives. She enjoyed being part of her children's endeavors to include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cheerleading coach, and host of many sleepovers. The beach was her favorite place to be and she would go as often as possible sharing the love with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
All are welcome to join the family for a celebration of life in Midge’s honor at Centenary United Methodist Church, (1010 Orchard Dr, Steelton, PA 17113) from 6:00-9:00pm on Friday, December 13th. Interment at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville will be attended privately by the family.
