Margaret Ann (Smeltz) Webster, 78, of Camp Hill , and formerly of Mechanicsburg , died at Golden Living - West Shore on Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was born in Lancaster, on Saturday, June 22, 1936. Margaret was the widow of William Lee Webster.
Margaret’s survivors include her sons, Daniel Lee Webster of Mechanicsburg, William “Bill” Edward Webster of Newville; a special niece, Cindy Lee Webster- Delp of Carlisle; brother-in-law, Charles E. Webster of Mechanicsburg and several nieces and nephews. Among those preceding Margaret in death are a grandson, Daniel Lee Webster, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Smeltz and Lorraine Smeltz.
Margaret retired from Highmark in Camp Hill, after 25 years of service. She was a member of Community Christian Fellowship in Carlisle. Margaret was also a member of the Mechanicsburg Senior Center. She loved playing bingo, taking bus trips, and her cats. Margaret was a strong willed, compassionate, understanding and very loving woman.
All are welcome to join Margaret’s family at her viewing on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with Pastor Sandy Adams Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery .
