Maria Ann (Fassio) Krajeski
Devoted Mother and Beloved Wife -
Maria Ann (Fassio) Krajeski, age 66, of Dillsburg, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Maria was born on Thursday, August 13, 1953, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, to the late Dante P. Fassio and Josephine (Leveille) Fassio. In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Fassio.
Maria’s survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Michael Chester Krajeski; her two children: Lisa Krajeski of Norristown, PA, Stephen Krajeski of Bridgewater, MA; her five sisters: Donna Lane of Massachusetts, Andrea Grazio of Massachusetts, Elena Kothman of New Hampshire, Teresa Newman of California, Regina Matthews of Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.
Maria graduated from Haverhill High School in Massachusetts. She retired from PHEAA in Harrisburg in 2013, after 10 years of service working as a computer programmer. Maria appreciated computers and the mathematical aspects, logic and problem-solving of programming. Prior to PHEAA, Maria worked as a teacher’s aide in the special needs classes at Cumberland Valley High School, which allowed her more time to spend with Lisa and Stephen, who were the focus of her life for years. Maria was a teacher to her own children, constantly providing life experiences and ensuring they had every opportunity. She shared precious time with both of them, shopping with Lisa and watching favorite television programs with Stephen. Maria loved experiencing life with her husband, Michael, who loved her deeply. Maria and Michael enjoyed each other’s company; and theirs was a true love and partnership.
