Marjorie Bell (Shaull) Wimer, 96, of
Mechanicsburg
passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 7, 2012, in the dementia unit of
Claremont Nursing Home
in Carlisle, PA where she had recently resided. She was born in Mechanicsburg on Saturday, April 15, 1916, daughter of the late George R. Shaull and Flora F. (Vogelsong) Shaull.
Marjorie graduated from
Mechanicsburg High School
as part of the class of 1934. She was employed by both the former
Naval Supply Depot
in Mechanicsburg and the
Embers Gift Shop
in Carlisle. Marjorie was a member of
Silver Spring Presbyterian Church
in Mechanicsburg for over 80 years, having joined the church in 1928 when she was twelve.
Marjorie’s survivors include her daughter: Nancy Deitrich and her husband Gary of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her sister: Vera Fittrer of Mechanicsburg; and many nieces and nephews. Among those preceding Marjorie in death are two brothers and eight sisters.
The family sends their heartfelt thanks to everyone at

and especially to Marjorie’s caregivers in the dementia unit. The family also thanks
Celtic Hospice
of Carlisle for their wonderful patience and care during Marjorie’s residence.
Memorialization will be private and at the convenience of the immediate family.
