Marjorie “Margie” Lucile (Dinsmore) Beaston, 80, of Hanover , and formerly of Carlisle , died at Hanover Hall on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born in Floral Park, NY, on Sunday, March 13, 1932, daughter of the late Nelson B. Dinsmore and Mildred L. (Fletcher) Dinsmore. Margie was the widow of John Beaston.
Margie was a former member of the Church of God in Carlisle and of the Windy Hill Senior Center in Spring Grove where she was an active member. She loved yard sales. It seemed like she purchased something from every yard sale she visited, and she discarded almost nothing. Margie was quick to give to anyone and everyone, she had a generous spirit. Listening to both Christian and Blue Grass music brought joy to Margie’s heart and she loved reading.
Margie’s survivors include her two loving daughters, Carolyn Kay (Brownawell) Boose and her husband Mark of Spring Grove, Debra “Debbie” Cummings and her husband Harry of Carlisle; her step-son, John Brownawell of Harrisburg; her step-daughter, Linda Sayers of Myerstown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Among those preceding Margie in death is her sister, Virginia Riddlesburger.
All are welcome to join Margie’s family at her gathering of family and friends on Friday, July 6, 2012, from 9:00 until time of service at 9:10 at Rolling Green Memorial Park , 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Reverend David T. Willard officiating with entombment immediately following.
