Mark Walter Glessner

Mark Walter Glessner, age 71, of Carlisle died on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Mark was born on Tuesday, November 24, 1953, in Mechanicsburg to the late Walter E. Glessner and Madalynne (Paller) Glessner. 

Mark’s survivors include his uncle, Trevor Paller and his wife, Diane of Verona, PA; his aunt: Pricilla Kline of Maryland; his cousins: Paula Ruppert of Harrisburg and Michael Cerzullo; and multiple additional cousins

Mark was a warm and kind-hearted man. He enjoyed being in the company of others and socializing. Mark had a smile for everybody and touched a lot of people’s hearts. Family was very important to him and he especially loved his stuffed animals. Mark will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have been in his life.

All are welcome to join Mark’s family at his viewing on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Interment will follow on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in St. John’s Cemetery in Mechanicsburg at 1:00 p.m, with Celebrant George Spangler officiating. Cremation was private.
