Martha "Marti" Adele Sheffer

Martha “Marti” Adele Sheffer, age 77, of Dillsburg, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died on Friday, February 23, 2024.  Marti was born on Saturday, June 8, 1946, in West Reading to the late Reverend Edward Emanuel Bigler and Isabell (Stangrewski) Bigler. 

Marti’s survivors include her husband of 56 years, Paul “Pud” Henry Sheffer Jr; her two children: Paul Edward Sheffer and his wife, Karis, of Boiling Springs, Dawn Michelle Smoker of Washington D.C.; her four grandchildren: Emily Anne Smoker, Erin Aljondi and her husband, Rani, Scott Sheffer, Maggie Sheffer; her two sisters: Elizabeth “Beth” Wilson and her husband, Fred, of Coral Gables, FL, Adele Martha Bigler of Durango, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

Marti will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. 

An Interment and Committal Service for family will take place on Wednesday March 6, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 1804 Fisher Avenue, Annville, PA 17003.  In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Autism Speaks. https://www.autismspeaks.org/
