Mary Jane (Shaffer) Stremmel

Mary Jane (Shaffer) Stremmel, 81, of Lewisberry, PA, passed away at home suddenly on Friday, November 24, 2023.  Mary was born on June 4, 1942, in Lewisberry, PA to the late Adella (Traver) Shaffer and John Shaffer. 

Mary was a wonderful wife, mother and grandma.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.  They were the light of her life.  Mary had a kind heart and always put others before herself.  She was known for making her famous peanut butter balls which many looked forward to during the holiday season.  Mary also loved her boxer, Tebow. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Charles Stremmel to whom she has been married to for 51 years, her daughter, Queena Stremmel Baumbach and son-in-law, Christopher Baumbach, and her son, Christopher John Stremmel.  Also surviving her are her two grandchildren, Shawn Christopher Baumbach and Peyton Adella Baumbach.

Services will be privately held.
