Strong Faith in Jesus -

Mary Deloris (Rush) Wilson, affectionately known as Dee to all who knew and loved her, age 84, of Mechanicsburg , passed into eternal life at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, August 1, 2015.  Dee was born on Saturday, January 31, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John William Rush and Mary Irene (Mobley) Rush.  Dee was the widow of Robert Elwood Wilson, Sr., whom she married on June 17, 1950, and who died on October 15, 2003.  In addition to her parents and husband, Dee is preceded in death by her son, William John Wilson, her son-in-law, Danny L. Williamson, her brother, John Rush, Jr., and her sister, Laverne Rush Monismith.

Dee’s survivors include her five children: Bonnie Seely and her partner, Dennis Smith, of Enola, Robert Wilson of Mechanicsburg, Brenda Williamson of Mechanicsburg, Bernice Stahl of Mechanicsburg, Benita Berg and her husband, Michael, of Bel Air, MD; her 13 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; her three sisters: Barbara Rush Cornman, Dorothy Rush Thumma, Donna Rush Wolfe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dee had a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and knew that she was going home to begin her new life with Christ.  A kind and caring person, Dee always sacrificed for others and put their needs ahead of her own.  She was a natural caregiver; with her focus firmly on her family.  Dee enjoyed the precious time she spent with her sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She retired from Capital Products on February 8, 1990 after 22 years of service.  Reading, knitting, crocheting, and bowling were among her favorite pastimes; and Dee thoroughly enjoyed traveling, Hawaii being her favorite destination.  Dee was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

All are welcome to join Dee’s family at her viewing on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Myers - Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Steve Forry officiating.  Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery in Carlisle.  Honored to be pallbearers are: Spencer Seely, Nigel Delaney, Elijah Williamson, Joshua Stahl, Adam Berg, and Kalen LaCombe.
