Matthew “Matt” Vincent McCue, age 55, of Carlisle , and formerly of Camp Hill , died at home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Matt was born on Monday, September 28, 1959 in Harrisburg to Elizabeth Ann, who survives him, and the late Vincent Cardinal McCue. Matt is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy McCue.
Matt’s survivors include his loving mother of Mechanicsburg; his three siblings: one sister and her husband, two brothers, one of Maryland and one of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
The family extends a special acknowledgement to a dear friend of Matt’s, James Placek, of Carlisle, PA.
Matt attended Cumberland Valley High School as part of the class of 1977. He liked animals, especially his dogs, and he enjoyed working with horses. He also liked to fish and garden. Matt had fun with his little sports cars and gave his all while working. Those who knew Matt best will remember him as a beautiful person and he will be deeply missed.
Matt’s family will be remembering his life privately. Cremation was private.
