Merri Lynn (Dutra) Post

Merri Lynn (Dutra) Post, 60, of Mechanicsburg , died peacefully at ManorCare Health Services in Carlisle on Friday, June 14, 2013 after a spirited battle with cancer.  She was born in Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, on Wednesday, May 20, 1953 daughter of the late William Holt Dutra and Marilyn Jean (Sulzbach) Dutra.  Merri was the 15 year companion of Steve Turner of Mechanicsburg who survives her.  Merri’s other survivors include her son, Will Post and his son Theo both of Lancaster, PA.

All are welcome to join Merri’s family at her Gathering of Family and Friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 2:30 until time of Memorial Service at 3:30 at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory , 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with Celebrant Mary Medkeff-Rose officiating.  A Closing Ceremony will immediately follow the service.  Cremation and scattering will be private.
