Michael L. Lowe, age 68, of Carlisle , and formerly of Mechanicsburg , passed away at Carlisle Regional Medical Center on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Michael was born on Thursday, October 11, 1945 in Mechanicsburg to the late Frank Lowe and Helen (Rider) Lowe.
Michael’s survivors include his five siblings, Jim Lowe of Dillsburg, Steve Lowe of Mechanicsburg, Doug Lowe of Dillsburg, Ron Lowe of Mechanicsburg, Diane Hepler and her husband, Mike, of Boiling Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from Mechanicsburg High School . He loved flying and attending air shows. Michael cherished the time he spent with his family, especially the trips with his brothers and friends to Daytona Beach, Florida. He also enjoyed taking car rides to Pine Grove Furnace State Park where he spent many summers swimming and picnicking. Attending church was a special part of Michael’s life. He was a member of Christian Life Assembly in Mechanicsburg. Michael loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who now holds him in His loving arms and who has reunited Michael with his parents. Michael was a kind and caring person, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
All are welcome to join Michael’s family at his viewing on Friday, September 5, 2014, from 2:30 until time of service and burial which will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Trindle Spring Cemetery , 14 State Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050; with Pastor Lee E. Hyman officiating.
The family sends their most heartfelt thanks to everyone at ManorCare Health Services in Carlisle where Michael was a resident. He was well liked by the staff and all the residents.
