Michael “Mike” Norman Belicic

Michael “Mike” Norman Belicic, age 60, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Gardners, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.  Mike was born on Wednesday, May 9, 1962, in Mechanicsburg to the late Michael Belicic and Peggy (Spahr) Swain.  In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Belicic, and his beloved feline companion, Daddy’s Boy.

Mike’s survivors include his significant other, Tammy Belicic of Gardners; his son, Blake Belicic of Dillsburg; his sister, Elizabeth McClain and her husband, Charles “Butch”, of Steelton; his two nieces: Melinda Belicic, Bethany McClain; his four feline companions: Daddy’s Girl, Sweeties, Ginger, Garfield; and his parrot, Kiwi.

Mike worked as a technician and plumber at ThermaTech.  He tinkered with anything mechanical and enjoyed working on and restoring cars and motorcycles.  In his spare time, he liked to ride his motorcycle, hunt and fish.  Mike would hunt deer during archery, rifle and muzzleloader seasons and he used to small game hunt with Blake.  He enjoyed fishing in Lake Codorus and the Chesapeake Bay and also liked to go deep sea fishing.  Mike was very genuine.  He always thought of others before himself and showed a great amount of love and compassion toward animals, most especially his pets.  Mike will be greatly missed.

All are welcome to join Mike’s family at his celebration of life on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Christian Life Assembly, 2645 Lisburn Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Lee E. Hyman officiating.  Cremation was private.
