Miquel “Mike” Galen Davis

Miquel “Mike” Galen Davis, 58, of Harrisburg died at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence in Susquehanna Twp. on Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was born in Harrisburg on Tuesday, December 29, 1953, the son of the late Warren G. and Edna Brandt Davis.

Mike graduated from Mechanicsburg High School. He was an employee of the US Postal Service for 17 years. He loved ballroom dancing and taught with his longtime companion, Thomas Eurieck, at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Harrisburg. Mike was a very creative and artistic man who also had a passion for shopping and traveling.

Mike’s survivors include his loving companion of 36 years, Thomas George Eurieck, of Vestal, NY; a cousin and best friend, Sharon Supko and her husband, Donald of Middletown; two sisters, Linda McIntyre and her husband, Jim, of Middletown and Gail Johnson and her husband, Steven, of Dillsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join Mike’s family at his viewing on Friday, January 13, 2012, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Myers–Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA, 17055, (717) 766-3421, www.Myers-Buhrig.com, with Pastor Tim Dugan officiating.

Burial will immediately follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
