Miriam "Mim" Rebecca Stone

Miriam “Mim” Rebecca Stone, age 77, of Mechanicsburg, died peacefully at Holy Spirit Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.  Mim was born on February 15, 1937, in Mechanicsburg to the late Coleman and Lena Stone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Watson and a brother, William E. Stone.

She is survived by her son, Scott Watson of Fullerton, California; two grandsons, Alan and Tyler Watson of California; one great-granddaughter, Vivienne Watson; her sister, Liz Nesmith and husband Paul of Mechanicsburg; her brother, Samuel J. Stone and wife Cynthia of Dillsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School.  Mim retired from the former Wachovia Bank and had worked part-time at Rite Aid .

She entrusted her care to Myers-Buhrig Funeral Home and Crematory in Mechanicsburg and requested her cremation be private and at the family’s convenience.
