Mollie Ritter Randolph, a devoted educator and lifelong learner, passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on May 1, 1939, and the beloved daughter of William and Suzanne Ritter, Mollie dedicated 30 years to teaching, mostly in the Mechanicsburg Area School District, where she touched countless lives with her commitment and dedication to her students.
A proud graduate of Hood College and Temple University, she valued education not only as a career but as a lifelong pursuit. Residing in Mechanicsburg, PA, Mollie was a person of deep character who found joy in travel, birding, and reading.
She is survived by her son, Peter, daughter-in-law, Kirsten, her cherished grandchildren Katherine, Graham, and Harrison, and her brother, Jack. Her ashes will be interred at Trindle Springs Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mechanicsburg, and a memorial service will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the William R. Ritter Fund at the Mechanicsburg Area Community Foundation (717-236-5040).
Mollie's quiet strength and unwavering dedication to both her community and the field of education will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
