Nancy Carole (Roth) Hanlon, 77, of Mechanicsburg , died at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, February 7, 2013. She was born in Mechanicsburg, on Thursday, December 5, 1935, daughter of the late Robert and Verna Roth. Nancy was the wife of Paul Clayton Hanlon whom she married on March 3, 1973.
Nancy graduated from Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1953. She retired from the Borough of Mechanicsburg where she worked as a secretary. Nancy was a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg. She was active in the community as a member of the Mechanicsburg Museum Association . Nancy loved antiquing and shopping. She also enjoyed gardening.
Nancy’s survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Paul; a loving daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Carole Hanlon, of Mechanicsburg. Among those preceding Nancy in death is a sister Joan Stone.
Cremation and services will be private and at the family’s convenience.
