Nellie Margaret Dorn, 86, of Mechanicsburg , died at Messiah Lifeways on Thursday, July 11, 2013. She was born in Toledo, OH, on Wednesday, March 2, 1927, daughter of the late Raymond Jay Dorn and Elsie Margaret (Frey) Dorn.
Nellie’s survivors include her sister, Barbara Cline of Plano, TX; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Among those preceding Nellie in death are her brother and four sisters.
Nellie retired from Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg, with over 30 years of service working as a procurement specialist. She loved arts and crafts, knitting, gardening, and especially taking long walks. She was extremely independent and loyal to her family and friends.
All are welcome to join Nellie’s family at visitation on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 2:00 until time of service at 2:30 at Rolling Green Memorial Park , 1811 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, with Pastor Gale M. Gregor officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the cemetery.
