Norma “Kay” (Colare) Hess

Norma “Kay” (Colare) Hess, age 73, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Robertsdale, PA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.  Kay was born on Tuesday, September 17, 1946, in Robertsdale to the late Doris White and Norman Colare.  In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her brother “Bud” Colare.

Kay’s survivors include her husband of 34 years, Millard “Doug” LeRoy Hess III; her daughter, Gina Nicole Johnson, of Mechanicsburg; her two siblings: Roy Colare and wife Debbie of Mt. Holly Springs, Deanna McNair of Mechanicsburg; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved feline Bella.

Kay’s family will be remembering her life privately.  Cremation was private.
